Very good...I appreciate all of this advice. Problem is I don't know what's in there, and I've even performed the eyedropper in the water test, and believe it or not, the results were inconclusive. I just don't know what's in there and want to get it out. The brakes have worked good so far...
I've read what posts I could find and want to go to DOT 5 brake fluid in my deuce. Anyone know what the system capacity is of the entire brake system. I want to get all of whatever is in there out.
Sir, can you specify what you mean my "40wt" ; is this engine oil; is this trans lube; GL?. Knowing your knowledge of these gear cases, I think I'll follow.....
I purchased a swivel holder from a marine supply shop in Houston, painted it OD and mounted it just to the left and below the glove box. Works good except when your styrofoam wine cup is REALLY full.
If the smoke is white there is a problem. If it's black you're better off. Turn on the accessory switch and listen for the in tank fuel pump to whine. I agree with above members; let it run a few seconds to build pressure. I also vote you need a filter change. I did a complete fuel tank...
My question is somewhat related to this thread; I purchased an unused set of MX-6707/VRC antenna bases (same as in first post) and did so after researching some earlier posts that one could tune the bases to transmit C.B. radio by dialing to the 30-33 Mhz setting and then removing the bottom...

The winds this winter were blowing every bucket I put on the stack off. So I put an old vacuum cleaner base on the exhaust stack and voila!; I forget it's on there, leave, come back from the kitchen after about 5 minutes for the warm up and there you have it.
I guess I'm the only guy that melted a friggin vacuum cleaner body down until I figured out it was on the stack; too late. Oh well. But hey, the engine lives on.

So far as I can tell, they have the real stuff; not a foreign knockoff. Found the site through some military websites I peruse now and then. But be advised I have not purchased the Trilliant light I referred to in a previous post, but I...
I think I need some of this. My rocky ranch road is tearing the poopoo out of my NDCs real quick. Where does one get the tires to fit these rims. Pm me if necessary.
Okay, I'm a neopyhte on some of this and an expert on the rest; but my question is: can you run these on a standard deuce? How much for the rims and tires. I'm an out the door guy.
