Starting new thread for same old problem.....

When it’s sputtering are you getting black smoke? Maybe this is the carburetor flooding. Hard to detect this since you can’t see down the throat of the Holley.

Starting new thread for same old problem.....

No way you are licked. This 302 has to be one of the simplest engines to work on, the only thing going against you is that everything is 74 years old. Back to the basics, fuel and spark.

Starting new thread for same old problem.....

Suggest you remove the fuel line at the carb and route into a bucket, power on the ignition and see if you have continuous flow for a few mins.

Starting new thread for same old problem.....

Now you have a fuel delivery problem. Carb is emptying out when heavy fueling is required.

Starting new thread for same old problem.....

Recheck your points gap. I think you messed up setting them. Suggest you connect a voltmeter to the 24 volt feed to the ignitor. Put the meter where you can see the display. Go for a ride and determine if the stalling coincides with voltage loss to the ignitor. I suspect your wiring is ancient.

4L80 DTC 73 pressure control solenoid with fix

Are you working with Supplement 7. Do either of the PCS solenoid wires show continuity with ground. Is there ATF in the Deutch connector. The usual suspects.

Detrimental internal antifreeze leak. Please help!

Eastern Surplus just got in a supply of GEP 6.5s, sounds like you need one. Yours is blowed up.

Injection Pump Reinstall Problem on 6.5 Turbo

This is kinda confusing, the IP can really only go in one way, the goof on this install is to drop a screw down into the guts.

Injection Pump Reinstall Problem on 6.5 Turbo

Were you able to rotate the IP shaft prior to installation?

    M1008 Troop Seats?

No that saying applies to M715s. CUCV had very different parts.

Looking for this piece- found. Thanks.

Those are called rails and there are 2 and 4 man lengths.

Starting new thread for same old problem.....

The condenser that dies is the one right next to the points on the breaker plate. Mine once crapped out at 58 mph and the engine backfired so severely it blew my muffler into pieces. Happened late at night on I-45 downtown Houston elevated. I was able to limp to a safe location.

Pump runs any time the ignition is on.

    M35a2 to M275 conversion

Nope but right where the 5th wheel goes is the trunnion crossmember so you gotta drill through two layers of frame.

    M35a2 to M275 conversion

I did long ago. Have to shorten the frame behind the bogie. No fun drilling the 10 holes through the frame for the 5th wheel. Plumbing mods for the glad hands on the catwalk. Tractor protection valve needed.

    hood markings

These are not tactical or unit markings, they are related to long term storage. For example C/C means condition code. I can’t read anything else. These markings do not need to be preserved.

Yes it does. I will pick it up tomorrow and get some pictures. It turns over and is all there, that’s all I know at this point.
