If anyone has the exact dimensions of the wheel cover i would like to partner with my buddy to see if we could make A die for his press at the machine shop to stamp these out. Also what gauge of steel? Anyone?
Thats a better pic than I saw, thank you for posting it. Still trying to find the exact brackets and straps. Truck dealers online have 'generic' ones. I want exact if anyone has or finds them. In the meantime more toys rolled in...

I've seen the 2nd gas tank done with the notching at the back left corner and removing that flap. I also measured at the auction yard and validated I can make it work. I also have a shop lined up to pressure test the tank after I notch it. The generator I picked should easily fit on the opposite...
I will be mounting the diesel generator on the drivers side and additional storage boxes. In addition, the camper frame will be beefier on the drivers side to support the 8 foot slide out. That should easily balance it out. That is a ways off, heck I gotta get an LMTZ first. Lol. So depressing.
So if you have looked lately there is next to nothing on auction these days as compared to prior Covid....
Doesn't stop me from putting the horse in the cart, or the cart ran over the horse or horses like carts or something like that.
Picked up a brand new, still in the crate, LMTV fuel tank...
I haven't seen much good feedback on the ones purchased from Hawaii, like stated above. Tempting though since there are only about 6 in the continental US up for auction right now.... I am hoping that when the 'stay at home order' eases we will see a big influx at auction, just hoping...
I hear you, might even trade off or sell them once I get the LMTV if they don't work out... Thank you again...
Made another purchase that just came in, new pressure regulator for the CTIS system. This will pump up the air pressure in the tires but affect the 'sand' mode which if I ever make it...
That is awesome, thank you 19Detail. It should fit, will be a little tight but looks okay. thank you for the pics.... I am thinking my bottom seat cushion will ride up onto the tunnel a bit but should be okay. I may be able to even notch the tunnel if there is 2 inches to spare underneath it...
You got me thinking. I went out and measured them from a width perspective.
The sliding frame rails, from outside to outside measure up at 19 ¼ wide and the seat cushion at the furthest outer most point is about 23 ¾ wide.
Can someone do a quick measure on your LMTV and tell me what you think...
So---still no LMTV, BUT that doesn't mean I can't start buying parts... Yes tired of watching our favorite auction site and waiting for Mrs. perfect. So I purchased these early 2000's Suburban seats, all power and heated. I checked the motors and heater this evening and everything fires up.. I...
Thank you Wheel spinner, but I think I figured out a way to make something just as feasible... thank you again.
As for Govt Planet the LMTV choices are very slim these days as compared to pre-Covid... Pretty brutal....
Either way, still not having a truck in my garage I did order my first...
First off I am still looking for my LMTV so I am a backseat driver at this point but I have researched tire balancing on these. What I am planning to do is use the balancing beads and put them in the tires.... Based on size of the tire there is a certain # that goes in each...

So I am building my subframe (in my head) for the camper.
I am going to do a 4 point with the standard pivot points front and back but the two sides I think I am going to use these suspension pivot shafts (see pic below). I can weld some ½ plate to it and fashion a pretty good 'bracket'. If...
Still surfing the net looking for my ride.....
I saw some Titan 05-14302-00 wheels. I believe these are for the LMTV, correct?
Thinking of buying them so I can get started and get them to the powder coater...
Made this very important purchase today for the build....
