I tried to put U-joint style shafts in my Rezzeppa style front end but they would not fit because of the seal. Why is this?? also whats the lube procedure for the U-joint style axles??

I want to re-seal and replace the bearings and races on my front axle . Boyce wants over 500 plus shipping for those parts !! Is there a cheaper alternative?? Does anyone have a parts list for the wear parts of the axles? maybe I could just get the bearings and races from the Local Napa
