I don't remember anymore, it has been a decade or so.
Was doing generators for Verizon, they ran a few 60KW.
I will have to ask one of my buddies that is still doing them. I just text messaged one of them, should have an answer soon.

You should see how they act when the fail on a one megawatt generator when they fail.
The governor control goes nuts. Scared the dogwat out of me.
You have probably experienced that?

So, in my infinite wisdom, I am installing the factory winch on my LMTV. Which I do not recommend, it is a long and difficult process.
Everything is installed but I am having issues routing and connecting the hydraulic lines.
There are far more hoses and fittings on the valve manifold than it...
Actually, I did not look at the TM for install instructions. When I worked as a generator tech, we used the same type MPU's. As I remember they were line up a tooth, bottom lightly and back out 3/4 to one turn. I went 3/4 turn. Same kind of flywheel housing, ring gear situation.
Tach is very...
This might come in handy if you an LMTV owner or constructing a driveline?
My driveline shop turned me on to this site after discussing my drivelines.

Somebody replaced the transmission. This is what happens when it is not removed for transmission replacement or not adjusted correctly when it is installed (the hair growing on it is the wire coil inside). I bet my winch tach will work now! MSP6724, ebay 25$
It is located on the flywheel...
When I was repairing my CTIS, I had several controllers. Some of them had some very strange errors. I found a good one and it has worked flawlessly.
It might be a good idea to borrow a known working controller, so you don't end up chasing crazy controller issues.
I unplug my controller when ever...
I will look at the video again. I have had the cam out. Cleaned the rust, greased it and still most of the time it it will still not turn into the slot, if I turn it with a wrench it will. When it does the the stay will not fold when I jack the cab down, I have to pry or reach down and pull it...
I think you will find they have bronze bushings.
They don't wear out often, and they are greaseable.
So, I don't really think that is you issue.
Any truck spring shop can rebush them for you.
Swaybar bushings seem to get lost, stolen or just fall apart.
I am in Eatonville, too far away for me to make it to you with my schedule.
I have had most parts of mine apart and become quite familiar with a 1078A0, if you would like some OJT? Or I can just show and tell you about the issues I have found and corrected.
Now installing the factory winch.
I...
Has the cab safety lock been unlocked?
Check Helicools Helipad on youtube, He has a video of the cab cylinder cam and lock.
When mine does cam and lock, it is a pain to get the safety lock unlocked..
I am happier with a stuck cam, the cab tilts far enough that it cannot fall back buy itself.
If...
I bought a stack of 10 of those seals on ebay, seems they were like 167$ no freight.
That is like 16,70 each.
Front and rear wheels are the same number.
I bought CTIS and front axle shaft seals the same way, same price.
I don't want to be stranded somewhere with parts several days away.
Just thinking out loud here! I have not talked with my driveline shop yet.
Has anyone considered making up a two piece rear driveline with a center bearing?
I have not put a pencil to it yet, but the angles on my Ujoints measure roughly 8 degrees.
If the rear were tipped up 4 degrees it looks...
