manual transmission conversion kit available ?

if you stay with the np208 there is no need to change drive shafts. other than drilling a few holes in the fire wall and cutting a hole in the floor it should be a bolt in deal. if you are looking to do the swap just to gain speed i would recommend changing gears instead.2cents likely...

moving axle forward with stock steering

is there a minimum lift height to convert to crossover? my truck spends far more time on road and towing than off and wheeling. my spring bushings are needing replacing and i was contemplating a small lift and crossover steering at the same time to maximize drive-ability.

What to look for when CUCv shopping?

i would add run away from any that look like they have had a lot of electrical modsaua any indication of a often wet interior might indicate hidden corrosion in the wiring up under the dash. ie one of my coworkers used a pressure washer on the interior of one our trucks:cookoo:, it still runs...

    m1008 towing

if you dont mind rowing your own the nv4500 is great. there is really fairly little cutting or drilling necessary. the nv4500/np208 combo is within .250" of the length of the 400/np208 combo. no need for new drive shafts.

    fifth wheel hitch on 1028

1400 b&w fits 73-87 chevys +gmc. unlike their other kits it requires drilling the frame. if you go to the b&w site you can look at the instructions for the kit. personally after getting the kit and looking at it i think i could have built a better hitch as the hitch sits on top of the...
