Gee guys I am not equipped to pull that stuff off. Better call a wrecker. Storage a may be a problem too. Mpop stores a deuce at a place near Wall. Maybe he will chime in and give you the address or phone number.
Since we can guess at the problem I guess you have a small air leak. I know in boats you can get leaks that let air into the fuel lines before the injector pump. Make sure your filters and gaskets are tight and working. Sounds like air with the hard starting. Or it could be low compression...
Ok where is the guy who always puts up the message "This post is worthless without pictures".
I forgot the camera; but I did see many pics being taken. Including all the "that is all bad" photos.
I had a great time and even got my H2 a little dirty. I would have gotten it really dirty if I had...
Fuel polishing is common on larger boats. Lots of diesel sits for years. Companies sell the service of pumping your fuel through a bank of filters. In theory it works; practice is another matter. In boats large fuel tanks have many baffles to keep fuel from shifting as the boat rolls. Unless...
You can use regular green stuff and add SCA (Supplemental Coolant Additive). I use Cat SCA 6%-8% by volume. SAC levels pH to inhibit corrosion, stops mineral deposits (a real killer in old radiators), cavitation errosion of wet cylinders, and foaming. I have Cat 3208's in boat so Cat SCA goes in...
I never leave home without an IR temperature gun. Great for checking on lots of things. The HF ones are crap at lower temps. +- 6 degrees at room temp. That is not a big deal at 200 or so.
I have two Deuces and one wiper on each one does not work. The red button is stuck "in" on both and they just sit on the starboard side. I would like a fix.
Thanks
I pump diesel around for my boats. I use 12 and 120V pumps rated for diesel. Not cheap. They have impellers that are designed to pump diesel and waste motor oil. I think the impellers are viton. The ebay system appears based on a water pump, using water sedimate filters. I even wonder if the...
Ida beat me to it. This is designed to filter water not diesel. The first two filters are typical filters for removing particulates from drinking water. A true POS
I picked up a 109 two weeks ago. I was disappointed it did not have a turbo......at first. About a month ago I got an M35A2 with a c-turbo. The M35 seems to have a little more pep and gets to 2600 rpms quick. The M109 does weigh a lot more and I believe that is most of the difference. One major...

What Bill W said. You need at least two filters a primary and a secondary. Primary at 30 microns and the secondary at 2 microns. My boat has Racor 900 series as primary for Cat 3208's. May be over kill for a deuce; but these would do a fantastic job. I would look for some used filter systems...
