Pretty much any material that will hold up to the Dot 5 brake fluid will work, as there is no pressure in the system at that point. You just want to make it as user friendly as possible so you will check the fluid more (Much more!) often than most do with the current setup.

Thanks for the offer Chris, but I already have the LED's and am not using the whole light, I removed the tub, and just going with the light part, it will stick out maybe 3/4" or so. I am thinking about using some 1" angle iron for a little protection.

I picked a up complete front wiring harness for $100 at Findlay! Didn't really need it, but will be installing it this summer.
I thought it was a fantastic price, and at the same time helped a steel soldier out.
