Didn't find anything on what the voltage should be going into the unit but I did find out that it is wired correctly. So here is my fancy hi-tech fix.. mounted it to a piece of wood..:-o Now my flashers flash..
I'll look it up, in the meantime I think I will isolate the box somehow so it doesn't short out. I am thinking perhaps the ground and hot wire was switched somehow. But it looked untouched to me.
BTW the IP for the MEP I got from you is still working out great!
Lots of posts on this topic so I tried to find the most recent one. My situation is a little different than others I have read. First my old flasher box seemed as if it was going bad so I picked up another one at the Sussex show last year (coming up in a week! yay). bolted it all in cleaned...
I had the exact same symptoms with the deuce but no real difference in drive shafts, my issue was the u joints.. I'd check them again. Visually it's not that easy to spot without turning it hard and then back again. Here is my post, I put together some videos on the sound, perhaps you are...
Just took a peek at the listings, they don't make it that obvious that it's for off road use only, took me a few minutes to find where it says it. Well I for one am at least glad they are not getting cut up and de-milled. I'd love to get a road legal one someday.
Happy Birthday as well. You never know at some point in the future you may have a situation where you were glad you changed it all out. Also you found this out in the driveway and not the freeway! That's always a good thing!
I'd offer you some good used oil for a flush if you were closer...
Check the U joint, I had this problem not sure if the sound is similar.

I also at a different time had a bad grinding sound/jerk and then all the teeth came off my rear diff.. hope that's not your prob.
I finally replaced my flexible fuel line in the front, I know, I know it looks like crap with all the fittings but it was the only way I found I could do it with what I had available. I didn't feel like trying to find the perfect NOS replacement and now if anything happens it's parts that can be...
You can try Erik's Military Surplus (I bought my rebuild kits from them) Also White owl, eastern surplus, Deuceman (above) etc. etc.. Should be plenty of sources out there for you..
Sounds like my old neighborhood.. Can you rig up some wheels or casters to it? Then it wound't be "permanent" Then you could put it up on 4x4's when running so it doesn't move.. Sounds like you may need to get a little "creative"..
Yeah not sure on wattage, there seems to be allot of speculation on other sites as well. My Led driving lights are super bright and I'm not sure if they are street legal either (which is why I have them pointing down a bit). No one has flashed their hi-beams at me yet.. Maybe because they see...
