    Air Pack Bad??/Time for rebuild?

I would double check all the airlines, if you can hear it you should be able to see it with the soapy water, or windex.. I had a hissing sound coming from the front end last week and found my main line coming off the air pump had rubbed against the frame and caused a hole in the line. A quick...

    What should a MEP-002a / MEP-003a be worth?

Up in the NE the prices have been crazy lately, 002's going for $1800 or more with no trailer.. that's just crazy in my opinion. For that price I rather pay a little more and get a known good running unit from someone here on SS.

I did a bad bad thing

Congrats on the new addition. Should change the title to "I did a good thing" bringing her back to life instead of a parts truck. Hey you're not too far from Kublos, (wish I was closer to him) Kenny is great huh.. It must be nice having him so close by (relatively) Can't wait to see the...

    1971 m35a2 lights cut out

Sounds like a ground problem to me. Does it do it regularly, meaning it pops back on every time? If it's random it could be a ground if it comes back on regularly it could be as 73M819 said. Mine went out once, so I added some extra driving lights to an AUX switch on the dash. It's never...

Where do I look for the laws concerning this hobby?

If you are thinking of a deuce, just ask them if there are any size restrictions on "pickup trucks".

    New guy from TN

Welcome from the NE. A pretty good group of people here. The worst that can happen here is if you ask a question that is easily able to be answered in the TM's or if you post on a topic that has been posted like 100X already, someone may yell at ya, but then it's only text so you can't hear...

    Something concerning in the TM

Thanks, I did put in some fuel treatment. I think that is what may have broken down some gunk in the first place and clogged the first filter, I already replaced the second one and the third is now looking dirty, however they are the small in-line filters which are easy and cheap to replace...

    New Deuce owner here..

Well, I hope your brake issues go better than mine did, but incase you have to rebuild the air pack, check out the thread I put together on it. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?82753-MY-Airpack-Rebuild-with-Photos! You jumped in with both feet huh, two deuces! Awesome! Best of...

    Something concerning in the TM

Thanks Dipstick, backhoe has a 172 ci Ford Diesel engine and from what I heard back then they were gas engines converted to Diesel, don't ask me how, it runs and that's all that I know. I had a really badly clogged fuel filter which I had to take out and replace with a newer style filter since...

    New guy from Oxford, PA

Welcome, once you get a deuce you'll love it. There are allot of them still out there but not on GL anymore, or very rarely. Best of luck when you get something and welcome to the addiction.

    Something concerning in the TM

I'm going to keep a towel handy in the deuce now to cover the intake, I have a snorkel so it's easy to cover. My old Wain Roy backhoe recently likes to run away on me from time to time, so I installed a fuel cutoff switch under the dash which I have used a few times now. Scary stuff..
