Just had that experience last weekend at Pismo...Rangers stopped just to chat about the truck. Asked about the upcoming smog stuff and i told them I was going to deal with it when the time came.
Good...I need your number so you can tell me where the heck I need to go...especially if I get a wild hair to run thru the night and show up in the dark:jumpin:
GL will put whtever you say on the paperwork. Just make sure your sf97 and any other documents you have match exactly. If I ever register a multifuel again....it will be a GAS multifuel....prior to 1975 of course.
PM me if you have other questions I might be able to answer.
I am running the Factory setup on the duece and and 2 6v in series(12v) golf cart batts for my camper area. Solar probably wont keep up and I think the optimal will be to run a dedicated 12V alternator to my truck for this setup. I vote option 3
Have one of those cheapie wallmart 12v coolers, they seem to kill the batteries pretty quick. ARB, NORCOLD, etc cooler type fridges are the best. Pricey but work great because they are thermostat controlled and do not run all the time.
I have not checked to see how long my cheapie will run...
I used 2 6V golf cart batteries wired in series to make 12V then the Solar kit is pretty easy if you follow the instrucions. Pretty dummy proof for the most part.
