Those were plates from a 105 trailer spring set that I used to set the other half of the bed on to keep it lined up. That is the easiest way I know how to do it. It also is used to clamp the two halfs together until tacked together.Thanks

Yes I just measured my bed and the truck, it looks like there is 6 inches of wheel exposed outside the fender!
