So...I gets this 62 M37 from out of state(Tennesee, and never titled) and it is here in Kansas. I have the original SF 97 release form from 1975 and a bill of sale from the gentleman I bought it from. What else might I need and what do I tell the gals here at the treasurers office to get a title?
here is my 37B1 and deuce now after the Halloweenie parade here in Atchison...it's gettin' there but still need a cab top frame before cold weather comes callin' !
The inner window frames are pretty much rotted out on the bottom so I'll probably have to bite the bullit and get new ones..I was able to just change just out the glass on our deuce way back when
Yep,it is a former Marine truck..I tried to find markings before painting but could 'nt really see anything except a bit of the yellow writing above the fuel tube. I'll probably get after that bumper this week sometime..put a little heat to it I guess , and try and straighten it..might just...
Well i'm finally gettin after the 'ol pig now that the weather is tolerable ! Off with the artic top and rust treatment beginning. I need to fine a cab frame and top, but all in all it's in pretty good shape.
glad I found your comments here today as I'm gonna change the markings on the deuce to 4th Supply and Tran. Bn..I just do not know how to do the abbreviations. My neighbor across the road was in Vietnam (69-70) with the 4th Inf. Div. and his unit markings are on my M37B1... I did /do this for...
I'm picking up my 62 M37 next week...the dash panel has two empty holes either side of the speedo. I've seen pis of these with covers of some sort..what 'supposed to be there ??
Thanks.....we changed the oil a couple weeks ago...no leaks then or now. It was topping out at 60 till warmed up then around 35 when warm, and idle. I have not checked for dilution yet cause it's raining but will...then what? should I bypass the FDC ?
On the way home today from a Memorial day event, I glanced down at the oil pressure guage and was surprised to see that I had only around 35 psi at speed( 4th and 5th) and nothing at idle ! The engine was running fine as usual, and after pulling over and checking it as much as I could, kept...
