Nothing really that impressive. And I may be laughed out of SS for it too, but my wife found a little car she likes, a Diesel Smart Car, and we're looking to get it into the US.
I think she's thinking she can get another car that gets similar mpg but holds more people, so we may be rethinking...
I think the interest is more from people that are always on here commenting or otherwise looking at pictures. If the entire membership voted, or was here all the time, it would really show, but I'm pretty sure not everyone comes here enough to do this.
Anyway, I like seeing different trucks...
That would make it easier, but no. Looking to buy a car that they never really sold in the US. The car itself, just not this model, diesel, which makes it challenging at best.
Has anyone brought a vehicle from Canada? If so, what did you have to do to get it titled? I know they don't have titles up North, so how do you get it titled down here? How do you transport it over the border?
I do use one. It's about 12" tall. And the pintle is at the very top, in order to level it out. I really need it lower. Ditching the surge system, and putting the channel system on it will do that. I plan on smaller tires also. I really want this hitch to be level with the receiver, at least...
The a-frame that you made, some is from the original trailer, right? What else did you do to it, besides add the channel? Is the surge system mounted to the top that you reused?
HH,
After taking the surge system off, did you notice any issues with balance when towing? Does the system, where the lunette is, add/takeaway that much weight to make a difference? Or is a length issue for the balance?
I don't plan on taking the brakes off mine. Being able to set the parking...
At least with this wrecker, you know the fluids were drained... kinda.... "Leaking antifreeze and hydraulic fluids".
Looks like a rig destined to be hauled, not driven, home.
Can't reply on tapatalk... grrrr...
Any, Dwayne, Harold here, not Howard. I can't make it to the BBQ. Anyone going from the North end that can transport this closer to me for pickup after the BBQ?
Anyone?
Looks like they made two covers for those trailers: TM 9-2330-202-14&P
http://www.mstewart.net/generator/M116A3-Trailer-Manual.pdf I know it says m116A3, but it covers all the m101A1 A2, and A3 in there as well. Same frame. Different minor specs.

I can't find the NSN anywhere, and the ORD only points to a person in Memphis, TN that is selling one.
So, Dwayne, if you could find out if it fits your A2, I'd appreciate it!
I would think, in your neck of the woods, finding coiled copper tubing would either be really easy to find, or almost impossible...
If you know what I mean....
