RE: Re: RE: I am such a dumb a$$
If you have a bundle of unmarked wires, take a sharp probe and observe the DVM while probing thru the wire jacket for live readings.
I have a civi truck that someone did this to. They were looking for 12V near the batt and probed (among others) the computer...
>It takes a few guys a few minutes to pushout the walls and get it set up.<
I can open mine in 15 min by my self (less if it's raining)
>MAKE SURE IT WORKS. When the walls didnt work, it was a nightmare to get it fixed.<
A friend of mine has one that's borked. The middle two side-wall racks...
If it is the same engine, you can try raising the speed. If it is a (2-pole alternator) 3000RPM one for 50Hz, it will have to be 3600RPM for 60Hz. The low speed (4-pole) ones will be 1500RPM-50Hz and 1800RPM-60Hz.
Here's a sneeky pete trick: You need an electric clock, the motor type. Plug it...

Hi All:
This is the first time I've had to post since we got home. We ran solo and made it home without incident. About an hour down the road, I stopped and turned on the heater cocks. About another hour down the road, we were warm and dry. Certainly not the condition we were in after packing...

btw, i am not sure how much gear oil a total "refill" takes, 10 gallons may not be enough, i did not see the amount in the tm, maybe someone can chime in.
If memory serves me it's right at 5 gal if everything is empty. If everything was EMPTY, you'd have already have needed that fire...
<if you don't have a heater i would pull the fender and radiator.>
I DO have a heater, but if I have to pull the rad, the heater is a small thing since she'll be dry anyway.
<RON!! Is that you? It's about time you joined! >
Yup... That's me. I had a bit of trouble getting all my little duckies...
<Hope>
About a gallon in 200 miles. The last time I road tripped the truck (8 years ago) there was a ring of dripped oil on the ground under the spare tire when I stopped at a break.
I'll try to get pix, but about all you'll see is the junk that has incroached upon the truck while I've stored...

Hi there:
The Army Air Corps became the USAF in 1947 (had to remember that for an NCO course. Never thought I'd use it) If it was an AF truck, look for the first digits of the bumper number to be "53KXXX" That indicates that it is a...
Howdy y'all:
It's been a bit of an adventure getting here. First, someone else had the audacity to already have my favorite username. Then we had a problem with cookies (I prefer chocolate chip). Anyway, the fine moderator here got me squared away and It looks like I can post now.
First: I've...
