    I would go with the Isuzu. Back in the day I had a GMC S15 with the 4 cyl Isuzu, 40+mpg and very dependable.

    I'll admit I didn't like the change (at first), but this is not my call. After a week of looking around things are getting better for me. You don't need to please everyone Patracy, just do the right thing for the site.

    Don't feel bad your not the first nor will you be the last. The way they howl you won't notice one bearing burning up. I know of more than one person (whom should know better) that have experienced the same condition.:whistle:

    Sorry to tell you this but Bob has your problem pegged. Your input shaft bearing is seized. The transmission can probably be saved.

    My 1010 has the hitch you describe. I pull a loaded M101A2 with no problems. I do need to remove the hitch to use the steps.
