Ive had mine apart and i just matched bearing for bearing at a bearing shop. I had a **** of a time finding repair parts for them. Im still looking for the winch brake housing, i had to weld mine up.lol
And my drive shaft is not stock, i had one built for $260 i could not buy a used for less...

Man, you multifuel guys would love my massive waste oil tank then.... I bet we put 30-50 gal a day in that thing.. try big Diesel repair shops they generate lots of waste oil and most have to pay to remove it.
I have to admit i still have those same crappy tires on my 5 ton, well at least till i get up to OK to get rims from ya..
I work at a heavy truck shop in Houston and my 5 ton lives there for now.. I just love to drag around modern tractor/trailers with it.. It will jerk one around like...

To me, it looks like water contamination.. I sent the link to a buddy who works in a fuel shop and he also agrees. Water/rust contamination. you may have some down stream lines with some rust in them. It may be why the last motor was pulled.

Yes,26,500 is the comerical entry any thing over that must you must have a cdl lic and a dot inspection..
My 5 ton is listed as 22,144 and i ran it to a cat scale which confirmed that it was well under that gvw 21,198lb....
I have it titled as non comerical truck and just a safety inspection...
Well, i was told by my ins company that they are not interested in insuring my 5 ton. So who are you guys using and what are the rates like?

So, you can mount HEMTT wheels on the rear in reverse? Holy cow i never looked at the rim.... Granted i have not done it yet but plan to soon.
