    USMC M813 fording question

I've got a USMC M813, with the fording kit, that I bobbed for a full time trail truck. My question is the axles don't have the air lines, for low air pressure. There are three lines running off the fording kit. The first is in place and runs to the bell housing. The second runs to the air...

What Deuce a m49 fuel Deuce and half go for

That's right up there with a "box of grid squares" and "changing the air in all the HMMWV tires".

What Deuce a m49 fuel Deuce and half go for

Dang, I was just about to ask how much my gold plated turd collection was worth. They're in great condition. Anyone? SS needs to implement a "party foul tracker". When members do stupid stuff, like trying to circumvent paying for a classified add, they receive a party foul demerit and are...

Air Dryer Issues On '86 AM Gen M934...

I've always used working air dryers from parts trucks, so they bolt right up. The biggest weakness with the air dryers is they don't like long periods of inactivity. All the more reason to drive your truck more often. Glad it all worked out

    Questions Before I Buy

    1. You can convert any M925 back to duals. You need to figure out if you want a M925A1 with the 855ci engine or the M925A2 with the 8.3 motor. The only thing I'd make sure I got was a M925 with ABS. Most were retrofitted with it but a few M925A0 are out there with out it. 4. Ok 5. Rather...

    Questions Before I Buy

I'll answer some of you questions. 1. *** REDACTED *** 2. A decent truck from a private party runs $7-12K depending on condition, location and features. Auction trucks run $3- 9K depending on the same stuff but have many more unknowns. 3. If the truck has CTIS and can air the tires down...

    Hmmwv

I agree it's a nice looking truck, but just FYI, discussing upcoming auctions is frowned upon on here.

Air Dryer Issues On '86 AM Gen M934...

You can still do all those upgrades this weekend. The air dryer replacement takes about an hour. There's a thread on here about fan actuator rebuild. Not sure on the time for that one but none of it will preclude the other upgrades and PMs.

Air Dryer Issues On '86 AM Gen M934...

Could be the air dryer expello valve sticking open. It's the dump valve on the bottom of the unit. Try to pull it closed with some pliers and see if you can work it up and down. A picture of the other air leak would help. Sounds like fan actuator valve. In the picture below there is a black...
