I have just separated my m923/a2 rim and I have the 1/4" O-ring. but I received in 2 O-rings that are 3/8" in cross section. in a comment above you said you only use the thick ones no matter what version of the rim. did you have any issues using the thick one? IE: having it get pinched...

now it makes sense, the O-rings I received in are for the 5/8" stud halves, they are 3/8" in diameter,
I measured and I have the 3/4" studs for the halve nuts.

I got it replaced, I later found out form another area on this site that during their overhauls, they sometimes added this a1 filter to the a2 trucks.

I have that same set up on my m923a2. but the valve has had its valve stem removed and capped (fuel free flows thru valve body from the tank). the filter still functions as advertised.
