    WC-14 Rarity/Value

    Yes the WC 1/2 tons had 4:89 gears and 7:50 X 16 tires. ( not as tall as the 9:00 x 16 ) My WC-21 ( T-215 ) could run circles around my M-37

    WC-14 Rarity/Value

Tinwood My book shows the wc-14 as a closed cab, you have a pic of a open cab, do you have different info about this truck???

    WC-14 Rarity/Value

Its basicly a closed cab T-211 ( it shares the same parts list as most of the other 1/2 tons) but with that particular model ( WC-14 ) my book states they only made 268 of them so yes they are rare. The original engine was a 218c.i. ( 78hp )

Tool kit found in my "new M37"- Info needed

About the only thing I've used in that kit is the spark plug adaptor for hooking up a timing light ( bottom middle in pic ) on the sealed ignition wires

    marker lights dont work

There's 2 ( thermal ) breakers on a deuce, one is on the firewall in the engine comp ( horn ) and the other is in the light switch. If it's the front park lights that your talking about, they don't come on with the headlights ( as mentioned)

    Need Pictures

As far as reg #'s go early m-37's had 7 digit and no U.S. Army markings on tailgate and later had 8 digit with U.S. Army and it varies between trucks and combat vehicles ( tanks) so I'm sure there were lots of decrepencies. In the meantime I found the driver side star picture for door mounted...

    Need Pictures

Heres where the tailgate (6") star goes. With door mounted spares you'd have a 6" star on the cowl in front of the door ( just below the winshield hinge ). On edit: I have also seen the tailgate star mounted on the right side of the tailgate, unfortunately I don't have the military truck...

M37 Transfer Case "Woe Is Me"

I swore I had a bad transfercase in my 37 so I replaced it with a nos from Midwest and the screaming got louder, turned out to be the spider gears in the rear diff were shot ( they fell out when I pulled the diff ) and the noise was carrying up through the driveshaft to the transfercase. just a...
