It only slips when the fuel is turned up. There is room between the bearing and the fingers. There is 2 inches of free play. The linkage is free and not binding or rubbing.

No the flywheel was fine I turned it myself. When it slipped I pulled it and turned it with a 36 grit wheel to give it some bite. The last time I had it out I tryed A new flywheel that I had.
I changed the trans oil but I have had the trans back out since then and everything was dry. I checked the new clutch and it had seated to the plate and flywheel.
No it had a 4 finger and I replaced it with the same. It could be possable a better plate would fix it. I am willing to try anything. I did not know there was anything else.

Yes this was a complete restoration. Not a paint job. It was done by a class of inmates. I have seen a lot of m37s but not many had a real restoration so nothing to compair it to so I thought someone might know. So I guess around 10 k. Cool
No I am not sure if it was caused by 1 air pack leaking or both. I pulled both feed lines and sprayed pb blaster in. I should have done I at a time but did not think of it at the time. I am pulling them both for inspection and rebuild.
