If your battrey holds about 75 percent charge you may be able to get it back up. If its old, dead and the plates are falling appart there is nothing that will bring them back.
If the flywheel was not done right it will only cause the clutch not to engage without grabing. It should not make a noise. Is this a air shift transfer case or sprauge?
Check to see if the starter solenoid is getting power when you push the button. If it is getting 24 volts when you push the button your starter solenoid or starter has a problem. You can also jump the small solenoid wire that goes into the harness to the hot battrey wire to see if it turns over...
If it does it when you are not moving it has to be the in the clutch presure plate or throw out bearing. When you hold the pedal down the input shaft should not turn.
