mine did this too, turns out it was leaking air in the water fuel separator, the rubber diaphragm went south on the hand pump, I was told they all pretty much do it in time, replace the water fuel separator and all is good now

no worries, glad they went to a good home, I am looking for the rebuild kits right now, think I found them. I just found the TM i need also, thanks so much :)

no i do not have that TM, I am so new to this as my M1079 is my first truck like this, I am learning like a sponge from all of you pros, my truck is coming along nicely for sure, getting all kinds of things lined out.
Is a NSN short for part number? Sorry such a stupid ? Again I am green , :(...
Thanks for posting this, I would love to know more about the shims, maybe a PM with a link to the source, also any info on how to shim correctly, hub disassembly looks easy enough, just need to know how to choose correct shims if posable, mine are a tad noisy too, thanks sooo much

I too have a few of the issues you have had, going to replace all 4 valves on my truck, what is the treadle valve you speak of, and where is it located? Part number and source would be super helpful :)

Been working on my truck allot and never noticed the front blue service glad hand leaking air only when I push the brakes, I don't recall this happening before, Is this normal?

just came across this thread, height controller is leaking around the black air line that comes in the back of the controller, how do you remove the airline from the height controller? Not familiar with these fittings yet, and where can I get new air line that small if I need to replace it...
