Mine had three return springs on the pedal. I removed two of them and now it's much better to drive. Also pop off the linkage to injection pump and make sure it's going full throttle. You may want to check to see if your truck is in 6x6. I've checked 7 trucks and 5 had air lines to transfer case...

If you do a crew cab with a m105 bed your drive shaft will be around 97-98" long. You have to do a two piece. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?68590-Seabee-Duece-Crew-Cab-Project

M939 transfer case air lines installed wrong

Just checked mine today and found it has been stuck in 6x6. It had full air pressure going to the front axle piston. I switched the lines at the valve that locks awd when in low range and now everything is good.

    Bumper mounted tire

For now John and I used a piece of pipe through the rim to get leverage on it. It's a two man job for now. One to pry on it the other to put the pin in it. We talked about using a come-along hanging from the upper right lifting shackle to do it also.
