Have not been in much deep snow , but in just 3-4 inches and some hard pack snow my A3 does well but the A2 actually got kind of squirly on me . I could feel the rearend floating around on me . I am sure the tires are the difference .
It looks tight to me , but I have seen one for sale that had 395's on it . another thing I have noticed in my search for 14.5 stock A3 tires is that they seem to be harder to find and cost more money than 395's . If I do not like the fit of the 395 on A3 I will put them on one of my A2's
I think I will try 395's for a bit more speed . if I could get 5 mph more I would be happy .
Unloaded I would like my tranny to shift a little bit earlier . Tranny definitely slows the truck down without brakes .
I am about due for some tires so the money is going to have to be spent weather I...
Pretty good deal but awfull short at 20 ft . Also narrow at 8 ft also . At 102 wide my deuce fits edge to edge . You think you could find me a 30 ft a little bit closer . By the time I get that back from CA I will have about 10,000 in it
I would guess much more than $6000 with the tandem axle tandem tire setup 10,000 pounds each axle . I do not think you could get one for less than $ 8-9000 new . It cost $1000 just to put new tires on it .This trailer was a 20,000 GVWR gooseneck that I turned into a tag trailer . 1995 Donahue...
I tried several truck and machinery places here in town that make hoses . Showed them what I was looking for and they could not help me . If could have found the dot approved airline I would have used it , but I had no luck . I keep extra with me jsut in case it does no hold up .
I think...
Not sure if what I am using is dot approved , but it holds up to brake fluid , kerosene and jet fuel with turbine oil blended in with it .I am told the turbine oil can be nasty stuff . same hose has last about 5 years with no problems yet . I will have to check but I think the hose is...
hope you find someone on SS close just to get it somewhere it can sit without costing you a fortune , then you can take your time to figure out what to do . I wish you luck
A gooseneck trailer would put the tongue weight over the axles better , but if your truck can take the weight a pintle eye will take it . I put a pintle eye on my trailer that is rated at 15000 vertical load , 60000 load . I put one on this trailer . It will be army green this spring . This is...
Can I see pics ? Can you deliver ? And when you show up at my house with it can you tell my wife that I am storing it for you . Eventually it will blend in with the rest of the trucks . It will be like guns , eventually she will loose count and they all look the same to her anyway . So when do...
It appears to me that some of the reservoirs that are being installed is made out of the same plastic that the plastic line is made out of . What is your concern . If the dot 5 does not attack the plastic reservoir the line should be ok .
