    Looking at buying my first

Going atfer the big boys is pretty competitive? Sometime in the future I would like to get one, (if the wife let's me) what is the usual price range for a deuce? I really like to put some 53's on it and lift it. I've seen some very interesting deuces on this website. I really like the one...

    M1009 pintle hitch question

I had a 700r4 in my 1984 K20. The OD helped with the gas mileage, especially riding on 40 inch swampers. M1008 is going to be trailered when I take it out to play. The Turbo 400 burns fuel. With the fuel costs the way they are, I'm going to be trailering it to any off road excursions!

So then when I get the SF97 from the government, that's when I will be able to register it. Is that considered a "bill of sale" or a "title"?

    Transmission Cooler Lines

Re: try a soft line... Out here we have a place called the "Hose Man". He can make pretty much any line you give him out of flexible hydraulic line. They made me some brake lines out of steel braid before when I lifted my K20.

cant stop, goes right to the floor

It's inside the booster. But these trucks have hydro boost right? So it may not have a diaphram. In the stick there should be a section on brakes. Check in there.

Civilian Nomenclature and tow bar question

The 205 is the better of the transfer cases because its gear driven where as the 208 is chain driven.

    New CUCV

Congrats on the win. The no spin and the locker are the same. The front axle is open with no locker. Depending on what you are going to use it for, you can always order the front locker for it. This m1008 you just won, huh? Tym, where is Seiad Valley at? Is it in SoCal? You also can order...

    Barstow, CA to SE Idaho

So Barstow GL is a lazy SOB? I'm going to pick up my m1008 as soon as my paperwork clears than I'm going to see if my brother-in-law will pick it up for me with his flatbed tow truck. If that doesn't work, I'll have my friend pick it up with his heavy duty tow truck.

Civilian Nomenclature and tow bar question

You have to order your parts for a K30. Some of them did come with diesels. Remember you have a Dana 60 front axle. That's why your stabilizer didn't work. They probably gave you one to a 8 lug 10 bolt or 8 lug dana 44. The K20 had a Semi-Floating rear axle (you have clips holding the...
