The one thing I have noticed is it seems that most of the multifuels with holes in the block at the #3 cylinder seem to be White's. It could be a coincidence. One truck I bought had a white motor with a spun rod bearing on the #3 cylinder. Anybody else noticed this pattern?

Just do a visual inspection for rotted rubber, missing rubber or where the bushing is being pushed out or if you see the rubber seperating from the metal, its pretty obvious when its time to change them.
