    FS tow bars/ adapters/manual

Sounds like a very fair price. I paid $250 just for my towbar that is slightly twisted without end pieces or pins. Surplus stores want $75 per adapter piece.

Only problem was I don't have a dump bed so I had to shovel all the dirt out by hand, talk about backbreaking. These truck pay for themselves and then some when it comes...

Lifting New Multifuel Out Of M1028A1

I unfortunately just sold the D2. I figured it wasnt practical for my culdesac track home. I dont have anywhere to drive it without tearing up the street. It is now in Texas with a Caterpillar collector who's finishing the restoration. I got to "drive" it one time as it was being winched up onto...

From Alfa Heaven in Aniwa, WI to Cocoa, FL

Sounds like a fun trip. You might have trouble getting on base with having just bought the truck. All the bases I've been to recently in Ca. are very strict about having the truck reg, insurance and license all in your name and current or they wont let you on. Call the base ahead of time to see...

Will an M1009 cucv fit in the bed of an M35?

Maybe if you take the duece top off and let the cucv front bumper bounce above your head and leave the tailgate chained flat it might fit. Just brainstorming. :)

Sorry guys, I didn't realize this was for the CUCV. I read speaker hole in the post below mine and figured it out. Disregard my post about the probe spot.

Had a great time, wish it could have been longer! My daughter LOVES riging in the "Ducie". Seeing Bjorns truck in person was impressive. He has done alot of really cool modifications to it. Bjorn , it was a real privaledge to have met you and your family. Hope you have a safe uneventful drive home!

Best location for mechanical temp gauge?

I put my mechanical temp probe in the front of the intake manifold right by the stock electrical one. Works good and plummed right in.
