While scouting out a remote sand pit the property owner offered up for a shooting location. The unplowed road turned snowmobile trail turned mud bog with no where to turn around, Quickly became too much for my m923a2 when the font axle would not engage. I called A HMMWV that tried to pull me...
My understanding is that the folks who went, had to sign itemized receipts for all parts that were taken so they could be tracked through the program. Sorry if I made it sound like a pick your own parts scrap yard.
Thanks, I would love to see any other picture you have on either build processes, the axle removal looks great too. I'm subscribed there now. I thought I was dead set on keeping it 6x6, but after seeing those shots, I love the stance on yours as a 4x4. What were the part numbers for the...
You truck came out awesome and is exactly what I've been getting mine ready for.
I started preping the donor cab last week. I've built some jeeps in the past for rock crawling, but I've never really done body work before so this should be interesting.
I have a few questions, so I'll try get them...
Great info and installs. Thanks for the details. As I feared, the screw in type I got does not fit my motor. My other problem is that with the freeze plug install is that I have to drain the coolant and run the motor to burp out the out air before using the block heater. This is a problem...
Anybody have a further back picture of where they put this on there 8.3 in a M923A2 So i can get a better idea if I'm in the right ballpark. I bought the screw in type, but the plug to the left of the oil filter looks smaller then the heater plug. I just don't want to drain the coolant in this...
Looks good, Thanks for all the pics. I just picked up my cab last Saturday for my crew cab build. Any advice or lessons learned during the process so far for mating the cabs together. Any chance you could post some more pics of inside mating areas and close ups? Did your tack them together...
I looked through the TM's and can't seem to find part numbers for some of the transmission lines. I have one leaking and want to find a number so I can replace it. It comes out near the bottom towards the rear of the tranny then routes Over to the left side.
no luck finding a parts list with...
Trip went well, some minor electrical issues, rotted muffler and some dead batteries but I made it home. I stopped at Eastern Surplus on my way back and picked up a New Muffler and some extra parts while I was in the neighborhood. Thanks Steve and the rest of the ES crew for help and use of...
Welcome, I'm just north of you in Southern NH. If your looking for an MV sooner than later I have my M35a3 on Craigslist if you want more info, let me know.
My Sheriff's department has a one man fleet maintenance. If this was for the department it would be easy to be a bit take the fleet maintenance guy the tractor trailer everything in go pick it up but since it's for me, left my own. I may check with my fleet maintenance guy but id have to pay...
Well if its ten days from paid in full, ill pay Monday morning and I should be fine I get there, if not ill have to find someone to recover then ill meet them down there. My bad on EUC, I though most needed it.
I just got my invoice for 7/5/13 GL win of M923A2 in Newcastle, DE. I was looking for some help when the time comes for pickup. First I can't open my invoice with iPad and I'm at camp without a computer. The invoice webpage says must be picked up within ten day, is this after the EUC clears...
I did without any luck. It's made by bendix. It looks like some guys on here tried to track them down a couple years ago and kept hitting dead ends as well. I wish I could get a napa part number but I think I'm out of luck.
