I've recently found this while searching the interwebz......this might help answer some questions. I know it did for me!

Visiting old threads thanks to Google.......
I don't suppose someone could just MAKE their own plates? I have a M35A2 and I don't even plan on having a trailer (right now), so the "08" is all I would need anyways.......I already have templates for the numbers/letters, so would it be safe to...
Yes. I'm going to keep it tan. The person that re-painted it did a very thorough job. Pulled the cab and bed and even painted the frame. It would be a lot of work to switch back correctly, so to make life easier it will stay tan. It kind of sets it apart in this sea of green anyways.
I just bought my first Deuce! I'm in La Crosse, WI. Found one guy in my area so far. About 40 minutes north of me. There is a deuce that sits next to an apartment downtown, but I never see it move, and haven't tried to establish contact yet.
Anyone know of any more Wisconsinites on...
Just spent a good 2 hours at my DMV (mostly waiting in line). All I wanted to do was get a title in my name for the M35a2. The lady said that I had to send that into Madison as well. In our conversation, she noted that the truck needs to be titled as 16,000lbs truck and that is $283 annually...
Thank you!
Been doing some research on it. Actually found the 34 ID facebook page and they have pointed me towards their motor pool for possible history.
As far as plan for the truck.......It's currently all "wrong." Someone put an Air Force logo on the doors, which contradicts her Army...
The truck was repainted at one point.
Question, do the number need to stay with the truck? And what do they mean exactly?
When I clean 'er up and do some painting, can I just get rid of these and re-stencil the same numbers/letters back on?
ha. I've been calling it the "do whatever I want truck." DWWT......Name it Dewwit? Not sure. As much as I do like Spankie, i'm not sure that's the route I wanna go. lol
I'm in total overload right now, but this is what I remember......
~ clutch is less than a year old. Paperwork included.
~ truck is titled.
~ front tires are new, and a couple of rear ones are to.
~ truck was OD green, cab and bed were removed once and everything repainted tan (including...
I hate to bring an old thread back to life, but I am wanting to make sure I'm clear on some things.
First off, if I'm reading correctly, I can change my oil on the deuce, filter it, and then dump it into the fuel tank?
Second, what size exactly is the fuel tank on the M35a2?
So from what...
A couple of years ago when this thread was started I was looking for a deuce. I was kind of let down by the Wisconsin laws regarding usage, and I kind of steered away. As of late, I have taken notice to the change in the laws to include "occasional personal use" which excites me. There also...
Good day all! I logged on a few years back to look into deuces and to possibly pursue my want (read NEED) to have one. Back then, I saw the law wasn't on our side but things were "coming." After reading this I am extremely excited since today I just took a ride in one that I may be purchasing...
I come from the custom car world. Some like crazy graphics, some like the K.I.S.S. principal. What matters is that you put your heart and soul into it, and make it YOURS.
I personally wouldn't care to see a "hot rod" deuce, per say. However, there are some really kickass semi trucks that I...
