I know this is an older thread but ...... What is the rest of the story??? I volunteer at the NM Museum of Military History (also a 501c3) and we have a 543 on loan. I love this old truck but it will not go above 1500 rpm. I need to change the fuel filters but if that doesn't solve the problem?????
