Hey Everyone....we've had a few cancellations so please let me know who is coming.
If there are not enough people, I've got other things to do. We can reschedule when Mark is feeling better.
So who is coming to the trail ride? So far, we have a few Unimogs and assorted mv's. We are meeting at the Red Lion Diner which is at the intersection of Route 206 and Route 70 in Red Lion. We'll meet at 9am and hit the trails at 11am. We'll most likely head for the water obstacles, Apple...
Rick Thiers converted his suburban and kept the burgundy interior. He also added canvas on the door panels and seat backs. He did an amazing job with the truck. I'll email him and see if I can get some interior photos.
This Champ was listed on eBay about a month ago. The owner listed it and said he would take trades. After a few emails, we agreed on a fair trade of some firearms that I had. I've seen Champs on eBay before but really didn't have a desire to purchase (or the funds). There is a good Champ...
Mark,
We will miss you. Sounds like a painful thing to happen. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you. I'm up at the ex's place in Florence where you picked up my M1009.
For everyone else...let's keep the plan the same and meet at the diner on the 27th. We'll figure it out from...

Bob...I'm going. Maybe you can pick me up on the way down? I would much rather ride in a Unimog than my station wagon! I'm only five miles off of Route 206, just off of Route 130 in Florence, NJ. I'll buy you breakfast.
I met Kenny Engle this past weekend and he helped me pick up my newly acquired Austin Champ. It will make a nice addition to my collection. He's storing it for me until I can get back and haul it to either New Jersey or Nevada.
RE: MTA meet wheel
Mike,
The Mite didn't come with a gerry can holder so I am not sure if they were specific to it. You are correct that everything is lightweight. This will make a nice addition to my Mite anyway since I mounted a gerry can holder on the tail gate.
RE: MTA meet wheel
I found a couple European gerry cans, an aluminum USMC gerry can, a brand new M416 vinyl cover, and a bunch of antenna tie down kits. Unfortunately, someone stole some of the kits along with a bunch of nuts and bolts. C'dub...you wouldn't happen to know about this would you?
