Hillbilly you can get a key cut at a locksmith, it is a "B" for the key blank and the code is 73Y2. I tried the local chevrolet dealer but with out the title they were of little help, as I'm waiting for my euc to clear on a m1009.

I did call customer service, thats why they said to fax the euc to them, they will forward to EUC dept. I did receive an email from customer service stateing that they received it. I asked C.S. if they could contact euc dept, yes but we would have to put you on hold for 30-40 min. So I say...

I faxed EUC on the 7 mar and the GL site keeps showing submission pending. Faxed a second time on 18 mar this time to cus serivce so that they could not come back to me and say that I had not sent the EUC in the 14 day time requirment. At this rate should be able to p/u the truck by Nov or Dec.

I would call my insurance co, just to CYA. Chances are nothing with the hit and run driver will ever come up, but you just never know. You were not at fault and had little to no damage, therefore no claim with them. Its alot better to be safe than sorry. just my 2cents

I have to disagree, fold down and pin in place. I love the large loop very easy to hit with work boots on.

Down in southeren IL I drive my deuce around with no problems with AV plates. Have never been stoped, also have a CDL class A/M. Lets face it southern IL should be its own state, so that we would not have some of the BS laws that springfield comes up with. ( with up north in mind for the laws)

How long does it take for the GL web site to update? Faxed it in 10 days ago, site still shows submission pending.

Your rotating beacon could be set up like new RGN trls are. Stake pocket on the side or rear of the trl. Mount the light on a pole, pin the pole in the pocket. Then make a pigtail for the light and a receiver on the trl. That way its very easy to remove to loading.

No EUC was needed, therefore it was worth the extra money not having to deal with GL on the EUC.hehehe. Why is it that a EUC is need on a M1009 or M1008 but not on this M 1031???

We had them in the seabees also, but what a PITA it was to get up in the 50 cal. ring mount with your body armor and 782 gear. Fun trucks to drive !

Should not be any problem finding a 12v starter that will crank a CAT, all civ trucks are 12v.

If you have never driven large trucks before, I would go with the M35. If you are bobtailing in a M818 you have no weight on your drives. A deuce you at least have the wight of the bed on the drives. I'm not saying be any means that you arn't up to it, but remember that the M818 was built to...

Pfarber the key to your statement was that it was coming out of FL. Freight out of FL is very cheap, any time that I run freight into FL you get high dollar rates going in, cause half the time you can count on dead heading into GA for your next load. BTW that 3.50 a mile had to be a full truck...

I would call the NCDOT and ask them as rosco stated. I myself always blow on past the chicken house, but I 'm running AV plates on the deuce. Here in IL its trucks over 8 ton, empty deuce is only 6.5ton.

You can say what you want, but I swear by Lucis oil addtive. Have a 3406E cat with 1.1 million and not a rebuild yet with 6.25 mpg avg.
