    Windshield Wiper Motors

A matter of opinion of course, but I like the ability to regulate the speed of the air motors. Sorry I don't have a link, but there are 24-volt electric wiper motors available for marine/boat applications. I have one around here somewhere, but can't remember the manufacturer's name offhand.

    Taller Gargo Cover

I'm not sure what this cover belongs to, I bought it from a local guy that deals in surplus tents and canvas. The first three pictures show it over the bows in their original position. I then raised the bows 13" . I'm 5'11 and can stand in the back with about 4-5" of overlap on the bedsides, so...

new early dodge owner please help identify this truck

As to if it's an original military cab, the door glass(if there are any) should have a steel surround to protect the edge. The windshield should have sliding brackets on each side with thumbscrews to hold it open. Civilian used a spring-steel tape activated by a crank in the center of the...

Please accept my apologies for misunderstanding your original post. I would hate to see anyone else take the "Parade Only" path.

    SC MV bill

The bill that was signed into law in WI may offer cheap license plates, but restricts vehicles to parade use only. Why would you want that?

EUC over 60 days, auction cancelled!

I made a pick up at Jeff City MO Jan. 13 and asked about 3 M109's on the back row. I was told they had holds put on them because of the gauges, but noone had yet showed up to check them. He made it sound like they had been sold already. I wonder if the gauge problem has anything to do with EUC...

    Found this little gem today

It was common practice in this part of the country to use old truck frames for the boom/gin poles. Most of the time some of the crossmembers are removed or shortened so that the boom gets narrower near the top.

    What the heck is this?

As NDT said: "International M-2-4". The WWII Marine Corps' equivalent to the Army's Dodge 3/4 ton weapons carrier. 1-ton rating I believe, and I doubt the crane is original.

GL has extended a day on several auctions for?

There is nothing in GL's Terms and Conditions that benefit the bidder. The T's & C's only cover GL's and the Govt's ass'.

    Deuce manufacturers

I know Gov't auction listings are prone to errors in the listing, but..... They are selling a lot of fire equipment from this site, so this could be a mixup with one of the other trucks that has a bed made by Ward LaFrance.

It's been a couple of years at least, but there was a guy named Lynn that I dealt with. Friendly and accommodating. No problem to help get you loaded. As said before the GSA people in Jeff City are also great folks to deal with.

I'm sure I've got a cab with White named as the manufacturer. I will try to look this weekend. I believe it was off an M49 tanker truck.
