That is a M1070 HET. They have been selling on GL for around 25-45k a piece depending on condition and location. There have many civvy mods to them already including one company that's turning them in dump trucks.

I couldn't think of the right word to use so I picked title. Thanks for clearing it up and jogging my memory.
How was the state able to brand the titles if they are a federal matter?

Yes it is fuzzy, but also remember, this law is just one small law that applies to very few vehicles on the road. If you were a police officer where would you spend you time in the code book? Obscure laws that you may never have the chance to write a ticket for in your life, or something like...
I live in Appleton, about 25 minutes south of De Pere. I am the current President of Military Veterans Museum down in Oshkosh. I can give you a private/behind the scenes tour someday if you would like.

I would title it HMV. if you go collector you pay more and have a 500 pound carrying limit. Hobbyist is if your truck is modified beyond original military. There is a chart on the DMV website that shows what they consider a modification. No safety checks, VIN inspections, or smog/emissions certs...
I will be there in my traditional swap space, W-1. I will be bringing a M109A4 and PE-95 Gen Set for sale along with other odds and ends. I hope to bring the first load up on Thursday. See you there!
Looks like this truck never received a restoration. Try searching on Craigslist in the southern IL area if you are interested in seeing what it looks like today. Might be titled "1953 REO V17A-MTQ - $4500 (Chester)" or something similar.
I do not know who this truck belongs to, just posting...

We took the T-34-85 out to Midway Village's WWII Days on September 21-22. We had a great time and the T-34 performed flawlessly. While I didn't get many pictures of the exterior, many others did. However, what I was able to get were a couple of pictures through the 85mm sight. I thought you...
By all means come to Iola if you are able to. This years dates are August 10-11.
You can check out www.iolavms.com if you want, but they have been having website issues for over a year now.

From what I understand, it was made in Florida and then towed up here to be put on a plot of land as a vacation home. It may have gone other places, but only in the summer when there's not too much salt on the roads.
The land the trailer was on got sold and the gentleman took the trailer off...
I'll add more photos later for better ID.
All Lockheeds I've seen have square windows not round like this plane does. Also this one appears to have had a turret up top. I doubt a cargo plane would have such a feature.

Recently I visited a gentleman who is planning on donating a historic military vehicle to Military Veterans Museum and Education Center. While there I noticed this camper sitting at the end of a line of trucks and trailers.
The gentleman said it was built in Florida and brought up here around...
In the -10 you will find that your truck is a 24volt system. If both batteries are dead, you will need to change both out with good ones. See page 1-16 at http://test.steelsoldiers.com/upload/CUCV/TM9-2320-289-10.pdf
Once again, if you read your -10 (which can still be found at...
