Does any one know where to find an adapter plug that allows you to use old style 2 pin jumper cables and ports with the more modern single pin NATO systems?
Any idea what they do / should cost?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

I acquired a little military Homelite 28VDC generator (17 amps) that needs some light restoration (new gaskets and some packing). It is about the same year as my M-37 (1953) and it would be a nice, light weight accessory for radios, battery charging, etc.
I have checked with the usual suspects...
Does anyone recognize this antenna mount (see photos)? I've had it for a loooooong time. There was a homemade mount for it to fit the knock-out holes on the bed of my M-37, but I doubt it is a stock .mil application. I seem to remember something about it being an armor mount. It takes the MS-53...
Is anyone on SS working on the old family radios (A/N GRC-3 thru -8 or VRC / VQR) radios from the 50's and early 60's? I'm talking about the old "boat anchor" tube radios.
I'm looking for a source for a bunch of little bits and pieces (antenna plug caps, switch levers, speaker plug caps w/...
Anybody know of a MEP 26A gen set for sale or trade? I'm looking for one to help run my radios and other MV accessories.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions about where I might find one.
Thanks,

Hi All,
I think I have a small generator that fit in the trunk of the WW II Command Car to run the radios. It is a very small, light weight generator.
Does anyone here know what I should look for to identify this gen-set? I will try to take some pics tomorrow when I can get at it to take it...
I'm trying to find the M101A1 trailer data plates without much luck. There has been an order with Dave Kelone for months without success (or any contact or communication).
Is there any other possible sources for these data plates? Vintage, Midwest and Saturn are out of stock.
Suggestions...
Hi All,
Does anyone know what wiring harness this is for the M-37? I found it in my storage unit (it is new, sealed in the box) and don't want to open it if I don't have to.
Any help in ID'ing this would be greatly appreciated. I've checked Google, but my Google-fu is weak.
Thanks,

Hi All,
Decades ago (yes, really decades) I was given the box pictured below by a guy who was selling a lot of disassembled WWII MV's (command cars, jeeps and WC series trucks). He had had plans to restore them but marriage, kids, and general life and growing up redirected his focus and...
Rooting around in my storage unit the other day I came across a winter grill cover for a post WWII CCKW. The part number on the cover is 7720766. It is not "new". It will need some cleaning and new buckles and straps, but the cover itself is solid and not full of rot. I've stored this for over...
Hi All,
I've researched the archived threads and found the ones covering this subject back in 2008, 9 and 11 but they were all for Deuces. I was wondering if there is any more recent information on these blankets and covers for the M-37.
I was digging through my storage unit the other day...
I'm fairly new to SS and I was wondering if there are any Hams in the Puget Sound area (Washington State) who are knowledgeable or interested in the Old Family green radios?
I have a mixed bunch of radio gear that I would like to put together into the GRC-3, -5 & -7 family for my M-42 and...
Does anyone have or knows who has the Marine Corp rear lifting shackle brackets for sale or trade? I've been looking for a set for my M-37. Are the brackets on the Deuces or 5 tons the same? Is anybody making new ones?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
I'm trying to complete and install the Old Family radio systems GRC-3, GRC-5 and GRC-7 (along with an AN/GRR-5) in my M 42.
I either have or have located most of the parts and pieces for these sets, except for some cables, mast pieces and mounts.
The biggest problem seems to be locating the...
