i had my truck in CT last winter and it was fairly cold. ensure your GP system is operating 100% glow plugs in these trucks are crazy important. As for a block heater. I didn't need it but it would make everything easier and it can't hurt. There are a ton of fuel additives that you can use...
ok guys i might have a second coming with me... i would like to get some real detailed info as to the amenities available. My buddy might come and he's in a wheelchair so i already figured out how to ratchet strap him into the cucv. I need to figure out what is available... what the restrooms...
gents... i'm in norman. if any of you are up for a get together/wheeling trip please think about mudstone
AWESOME looking trucks. my poor truck is not so pretty.
today i started removing the rubberized floor coating in the m1009. its a royal pita. anyone have any tip of how to get it off and what i really do need to do prior to insulation?
I've heard of and seen a few 10 bolts break. its a notoriously weak axle. Spend the money and upgrade to a 14bff and a locker. Its totally worth it. do 4.10 gears then get a D60 front and never worry about axles again. Lift the truck 4-6 inches and throw on a set of 37s. case closed :)
