We use them everyday at work without any problem and tow up to 10k. The issue people have had here is backing up with them and using a pintle hitch that is too small for the lunette ring that binds and bends the plate.
There should be a data plate on the frame that tells you what model the frame is. M116-A?
A2s have surge brakes.
Your tires aren't sticking out like they normally do on an A2 bed with an A3 axle, but it's hard to tell from your pictures or the tires.
It's hard to say, sometime a lot is over looked and goes for cheap, while others get into bidding wars. I always talk to the GL guy and he laughs at what some lots go for while better ones go for much less.
The front landing led is held vertically by a spring loaded pin. You pull the pin and rotate the leg towards the back and it locks into place parallel to the A frame.
Yours doesn't have the rear landing leg.
The trailer pin you got will lock out the brakes. Small hole in the surge brake...
CPI to MFPI fuel injectors
Lower intake manifold is the one to check.
I hope you aren't replacing the fuel pump with an Airtech or similar aftermarket pump.
