Would you pull a M101A3 with a 04 Nissan Xterra?

We use them everyday at work without any problem and tow up to 10k. The issue people have had here is backing up with them and using a pintle hitch that is too small for the lunette ring that binds and bends the plate.

    M101 A3 with an A2 bed

There should be a data plate on the frame that tells you what model the frame is. M116-A? A2s have surge brakes. Your tires aren't sticking out like they normally do on an A2 bed with an A3 axle, but it's hard to tell from your pictures or the tires.

    My M101A3...new to MV

    My M101A3...new to MV

If the leg isn't locked by the pin it can list forward or towards the back. Put a pic up of the cushioned pintle riser mount, never seen one.

    My M101A3...new to MV

The front landing led is held vertically by a spring loaded pin. You pull the pin and rotate the leg towards the back and it locks into place parallel to the A frame. Yours doesn't have the rear landing leg. The trailer pin you got will lock out the brakes. Small hole in the surge brake...
