If the plastic line would work you would have the advantage of seeing air bubbles and presence of fluid and could use a homade container that was not clear .If the fluid in the hose droped you would know you had a problem . I think I will give it a try . I have a hard time paying for a container...
I like the 20 minute rule . That way if someone waits to outbid you the last 5 seconds it gives you 20 minutes to make another bid . Without the 20 minute rule you would not have time to rebid if someone bids that last 3 seconds .
Soft compound tires on my Vette would do that after sitting only a few days . Gets flat spots while sitting . After about 5 miles of intersate it would go away . I have also noticed on the deuce the shaking in the frontend at higher speeds will go away after tires warm up .
My guess is his problem with IL is to license and title a Deuce in IL is expensive . You need commercial plates ( Antiuqe plates are good for 8000 pounds MAX . And some insurance companies want commercial insurance . My guess is Kyle is like me . He drives his truck to a lot more than car shows...
A good point from Wreckerman . If you are only going to buy one truck GL is very time consuming and in the end not as cheap as you think it is . Some trucks on GL are going for the same prices in the classifieds , maybe even more after buyers premium , taxes and SF 97 fees . Another good reason...
My experience with DMV . First two trucks the lady was verynice and thier to help me . She changed anything I asked her too . At first I was not even going to ask , but after seeing the good mood she was in I decided to " OPEN UP THAT CAN OF WORMS " no problem things went smoothly . A month...
If you go with 1985 would that take you out of the antiuqe plate catagory ? It may not hurt to at least try to see if the dmv will put the correct info on the new tittles . with the vin # some the of the guys on SS could prbally tell you the year of your trucks
When you go to get a tittle your state will charge you sales tax , ( if you have not paid sales tax when you bought it . That is why you see trucks for sale without tittle .
machine sand ( da sander ) with 320 . Degrease and paint . no need for primer unless you sand to bare metal . If you are crazy about not breathing the dust use resperator or wet sand with 400 . If sanded good you should get rid of any texture or other misc. imperfections from the old paint job .
I would be more afraid of a truck with actual low miles than higher mileage . All these trucks probably sit too much , which gives them problems . The low mileage can have more problems then the higher mileage trucks . Just recovered two trucks with no brakes . The one with 35000 miles I just...
14.5 are 43 tall 395 are about 46 tall . 395's are cheaper than 14.5 . The $ 700 tires I saw for sale were 14.5 ( which were overpriced ) . 395's are found for $100 -150 used . The most I have seen brand new 395 tires for is about $400 . I would geuss with the 395 on an A3 you coul get an easy...
