I also believe you need to research the bead style that the A3 rims are designed for . The A3 tires have a different bead then the tire you want to use . I know guys are doing it , but then some guys say not to .
I talked to Rapco about the hardener . I was told that the use of hardener would increase the gloss level to high for a MV . Even without the hardener it is not as flat as carc . What I would call satin or eggshell gloss level . I sprayed a cabplate reinforcement without reducing it at all...
I think it comes down to doing research to find the cheapest place to buy . I am sure thier are SS members to help us do that , then thier are members that are trying to suport thier addiction and will use the opertunity to make some cash . I have seen alot of the group buy stuff on gun forums...
I have had the same problem . I would like to know where to get new bolts . I noticed most the replacement hinges I have seen have a pin instead of a bolt , which will not allow the mirror brackets to be bolted back on . Where did the ODI upgrade come from ? .
I went to a different DMV location today . The guy whiped right though it no ??? asked . I also discovered that Although antiuqe plates can not be put on a Deuce , Antuiqe plates in IL are good for 8000 pounds and less . They do have mileage plates available that are half of what I am paying...
I agree , I do not blame it on the clerk , he was a nice guy and just trying to do his job and felt bad that he brought it to the attention of his supervisor . In the end it was the supervisor that made the decision . The 20 Year old blonde superviser probally could not pick out my truck if...
I think the reason you did not run into the problem with the serial # is the guy told me it does apply to vehicles before 1985 .
All the A3'S serial #'s start at 500001 and go to 505500 range . Mine is 1840 of 5500 trucks . No prefix . I told the guy to just add some 0's before the serial # to...
I go to get the AZ tittle from GL transferred into my name today . The guy at the desk noticed a "problem" the serial number has fewer digits then it should . I guess newer vehicles are required to have a 17 digit # the A3 has 6 digits . He went and talked to his superviser about it ...
I have been using aircraft stripper . it is working well . I have several coats of carc . It gets off all the carc on the first coat , then it takes a second coat of stripper to get the factory paint off .
I have seen them sell in pairs for less then 600 . You will have more than 500 in one trying to build from junkyard parts . You need to bid when their are several trailers , The smaller the number of trailers, the higher they go .
My A2 has been gone through , new fluids ,filters , brakes , no leaks , runs good . I have no problems with it .Looks good and runs good . I drive it three times a week . Its is the truck in my Avatar . It is a good solid truck . I would sell it for $4500 with the same warranty you would get...
The brakes on my A3 are just as you described . My A2's seem to stop with much less pressure on the pedal .
I just figured that the A3 brakes may need servicing . I have not had time to take a look at them yet . Another possibility is the larger tires just take more to get stopped .
The engine compartment has about 2 inches of foam . The firewall has some insulation and the floorboards have rubber matt with some insulation on the back . The Cat also has a muffler .This all helps with noise . The engine and drivetrain seem pretty smooth and quiet . BUT them tires SCREAM .
My...
