Dave08,
I feel kind of silly posting as I have no advise to offer but I will offer this:
If you need to store some stuff, I have 40 acers about an hour 15 north or Tallahassee. Good people and it would fit in.
I'm not just posting this so you will "feel" better. If you need to get some...
JJ,
Don't get fooled by the paint scheme. Yeah its got a winch and hard top(puke on a hard top) but the real beauty of this hobby is that you can change it cheaply. If that truck goes for too much then get a different truck and go to Wally World and get 12 cans of spray paint and shoot it...
Hmmmm....AceHigh if this was my project, I would remove the drop leg in the rear and replace it with another landing leg from the front of a 105. Those rear landing legs seem smallish and more to the point a front landing leg would allow you to distribute the weight a little better. Those front...
Yeah I cant understand it either "The rules say" What more do you need to continue?
This has been beat to death so many times. I HAVE TRIED TO PURCHASE STUFF FROM PEOPLE THAT POSTED 5 TIMES AND LEFT. That is beyond agravating. I have money in hand and you can't/won't/don't care to get back to...
I would get it it if he doesn't want an arm and leg. There is one in TX that is rusted badly and he wants 7-8,000 for it. You just don't see them here in the US. Now that is a great barn find!!
You sir are "the man" with a well executed plan!
I need to do one of these, ....................................big time. Awsome photos, write ups and please feel free to share more photos from the trip.
Cool truck too...!
Didn't I see that truck before the paint job on a youtube video? SS Florida rally 09 pulling out a stuck in the mud deuce? It was bobbed with a standard bed cut down and had the double bumper.
Kinda cool if it was.
Welcome from your GA neighbors! Start small. Get the deuce lego truck on amazon, you will be the envy of all the five year olds (yes..........I did this when I started this hobby:sad:). But I saved my pennies and am now rebuiling a GMC M211. Good luck and again, welcome!
