I just got off work and home now. Tommorrow again I have to work. How late and where does the car show last in steilacoom? Sunday and Thursday are my days off this week.
I have bought my M1031 and I am in the process of doing all the maintenance on it before I start pulling my trailer on long trips. When I get the milage worked out I will let everyone know. What I have done so far is put a trailer hitch on bothe the front and rear, installed a brake controller...
I just finished mine. The only real problem I had was removing the intake manifold. What was used to weld the gaskets to the engine and the manifold was, I don't know but I would like to get some for other applications. I had to use my engine hoist cargo straps and had the front wheels about two...
Thanks, I already checked three times visually and manually but will look again. What were you prying againest? I don't want to pry againest the valve covers. What valve was glogging? 8-)
When you were changing the injector pump how did you brake the intake manifold loose? All the bolts and studs are out on mine and it is like it is welded on. I am changing mine because it is leaking. What check valve was clogging up on you? Thanks:grin:
I did mine before I even sterted it for the first time when I went to pick it up. To many horror stories and I don't like throwing away money when I don't have to. Thanks, Doghead[thumbzup]
This would be an addon truck, my colorado does great job as far as it was designed to do. Now I want to do a little more. The mileage listed are for unloaded highway miles. As for speed that is not an issue either, as long as it is safe on the freeway and get where a prius can't.:D
The colorado has the inline five. The truck I had before was a S-10 regular cab no frills pickup with a four banger. It got about 25mpg. The colorado is loaded and both were/are two wheel drive. I commute 25 miles each way everyday to work mostly the opposite direction of most of the traffic so...
I think that is the whole point. Getting anywhere I would want to take my trailer and maybe a little further off the trail with the most style points. I am in.8)
The 30mpg is empty without towing a trailer the 8mpg is the high pulling a trailer, so ten is a big plus for me, plus as you say the cool factor goes way up. Thank you any and all information is most welcome, Dwayne PS here is a picture of my truck and trailer and I do think it would look even...
