Road Trip DFW to Chester IL DEC 26-JAN 9

OPCOM, Here's a 'Old Timers Trick' for finding a no-load miss. When you shut the engine down, listen closely to the exhaust. If it sounds like it's sucking back on the last couple revs, it's a possible valve issue. If it does not make that sound, it's a pretty good bet it's a fouled...

    Gun Truck Guns

I've got three resin guns from this supplier (www.rreplicas.com) they are all very accurately detailed. The nice thing about resin guns is you don't need to worry about the weather, plus they're affordable.

What is involved in converting a deuce to a tanker?

First person I would recommend you talk to is your insurance man. Some states require a minimum amount of liability insurance and a bond of some type to cover any haz-mat clean ups in case of an accident. Depending on the year of your deuce, they may refuse to insure it for any type hauling.

    Breakdown Beacon on Site Needed

My .02 PB's template idea is a good one, I would also like to suggest a different color beacon. Blue is already for PM notfications. How about: 'Yellow' needs help. 'Red' emergency situation. That way folks would know the seriousness of that person's situation and can respond accordingly.

Winter storage ,keep the critters out of the cab.

Snuggle dryer sheets in the tool box and under the box seat, plus plenty of moth balls in the cab seems to work. The moth balls have kept the wasps out of the cab during the summer months also, but mine is stored inside. I do like the pepermint oil idea.....
