Hey everyone. I know it's been a while since I posted up so I figured I would.
I have been running the snot out the green machine. The IP is holding up great, diesel care in Memphis did the rebuild btw. They are a great company to do business with.

Is tach your looking at digital? Most of those I have seen are, if you want a faster read out then analog is your friend. The one I use is analog.

On the tachometeri would look into the autometer tiny tach for diesels. They have one that uses a small sending unit that you clamp to the outside of one of the alts. Check eBayfor those.

I want to put some new springs up front on my truck and either a shackle flip in the rear or airbags. I like the air bags because I can haul even more weight.

I just used a slip knote when I started, clinched it down very tight and then at the end I just did a regular knote and also tucked it under a couple times. Then I trimmed he tail off as close as I could get it, headed with a lighter and mashed it into the other strands of rope. It seems to hold...

It's not as loud as the video makes it seem but it does...
Yesterday was a 2 run and the paracord was comfortable. I drove my house to up around Dover, even down 232 letting it roll, the cord didn't hurt my hands. It actually gave me a better grip on the wheel
Here is the finished product. Took maybe an hour and a half total. I just wrapped the cord nice and tight with the occasional note.

I finished the bottom half this morning and it loosk great. Get a pic in a bit. I then drove the truck to the store to get some grub and I really like it. The rope is cooler, you get some air between your fingers, and gives you a better grip on the wheel. Now I just need a way to cool...
Drove the green a little. Sat for almost a week, ran good though. I definitely blowed the dust out of it, 65+ mph a lot.
