    This baby smokes and I mean smokes at idle and hold your breath at 2500 rpm!! I had to get out of the barn and catch my breath before I could go back in and observe things.

    To the left of pic #4 in the center of the race is that a scuff or just the pic? I would clean the bearing and inspect for pitts,scuff marks and any cage damage.

    Ok,If all of the above fail. What about drill and tap to a 7/16"-3/8" and use it that way? Just my out of the box thinking.Or drill ,tap,install bolt with red lock tight,let dry and back out? I have seen red locktight pull the threads out of cast iorn! Good luck

    Did You ever find the source of the leak? Did You call the guy You bought it from? Did he tell you the truck was sound and fit for the road? If he did You may have a legal beef with him. Where are the pics?

    Deuce leak

    I had a leak at the injector pump.It turned out that the flair inside the hose was cracked.(The hose from the engine block to the pump)

    Rusty fuel tank problem(s)

    I have used this several times with good luck.It stays pliable,I have had that can for 5or6 years and the stuff on the lid is still pliable.I too got it from a radiator shop.

    here are a couple pics. that might help. If there is a Tractor Supply out there they carry Traveler brand oil which is Mil spec and reasonable.

    What about putting it in the freeze,then quickly apply outward pressure and alot of heat? sometimes the things that sound the straingest works.or what about the zerk on the end pump in some grease might push it apart?
