FWIW. If you can remove most of the crud at the bottom and the dirty brake fluid from your MC before you start adding new fluid you'll need to purge less. A basting syringe from a dollar store worked well for me.
Another option for your alternator needs is member Tow4. He sells rebuild kits and may be able to find a rotor, may be worth a PM.

According to the TM-10 a stock M1009 is rated for towing 1200 lbs with 100 lbs tongue weight. As mentioned before, upgrading your receiver hitch will allow you to tow more weight safely.

For me, the two piece vent seal from 1aauto fit well on the passenger side. It opens and closes fine. Didn't need the drivers side.
