    new bumper on my 1009

Thom, That looks really good! Great for when you have to change the injector pump out. If you can't figure out how to mount your rear bumper, try fitting an M1008 bumper to the M1009. I've done two of them and they look great. If you decide to do so, let me know and I will email you...

    What is this stuff??

RE: Re: RE: What is this stuff?? You might want to post the engine for sale on the Unimog or Pinzgauer boards. If it's small enough, someone will want it. Heck, if I had money, I'd put it in my Mighty Mite! PM me if you need the boards addresses.

    OD Fever hits the subconscious

Ok...any doctors in the house? I'm now dreaming of OD!!! I dreamt that I bought a really nice deuce and was driving it along the beach in NJ with a couple other deuce owners. Everyone loved the truck. The only pitfall of the dream was that I had a heck of a time getting it into a parking spot!

    Mighty Mite turn signals

I mounted new turn signals on my Mite today. They are much smaller and don't look out of place like the 4" round signals. I have four more of these if anyone needs them.

Military Police markings arte a big NO GO!!!!

Speaking of military police markings... With all this talk about not being able to display police markings and lights, I am going to sell my MX7000 light bar. I was going to put it on my fire department car but I've had it for two years and I could use the money. Besides, eBay won't let you...

    Suburban doors on an M1009?

Mangus, I thought the tail gates were interchangable? Wouldn't this make the rears the same? Correct me if I am wrong.

    Suburban doors on an M1009?

That last picture looks like it was taken right where I live! Have you ever seen Rick Thiers' Suburban CUCV? He did an excellent job at converting it, even right down to making a spartan interior with canvas lined doors. His has the diesel and already had a lift kit. He's located in Atglen...

    Suburban doors on an M1009?

Has anyone ever tried to fit Suburban doors to an M1009? It looks like they would fit with some modifications. Might look pretty cool too.

Did Mites ever have bridge plates on them? If so, would it be a yellow or green one? Any photos of a Mite with a plate would be great!

    Member "Staging Lots" ??

RE: Stage I've got plenty of space here in Nevada. No bases too close to me though. I've been storing a laundry trailer for a guy in California for about a year and a half now. Put me on the list!
  20. M

    What kind of trailer?

Empty weight is around 5,000 lbs. It is made with some very heavy steel C channel. I recall that the deck is 1/4" thick. The axles are very heavy as well.
