So, the wife and I decide to start hauling out some scrap metal that we knew was out in the woods behind our house, previous owner was an auto mechanic, and we stumbled upon this trailer. I thought at first that it was just some homemade junk that someone left to rot and I was just going to...
Take it apart, they are pretty simple. If it is rusted that bad the spring inside is probably shot so even if you did get it to move it wouldn't want to stay latched. Your not going to break anything by taking it apart, and it will work 100 times better than if you just beat on it to get it to move.
I took the wife by to see it today and to make an offer on it but he said he had been mistaken on the price and that his boss wanted $2500 I told him there is no way I could go anywhere close to that. So, thanks for all your input, I'll just have to keep my eye out for another one.

I ran duals on the front of my deuce at the 2011 Ga rally. It was not much harder to steer than with just the single tires, on or off-road. I was running new tires on the inside and almost wore out tires on the outside, so because of the tread height difference I think it was easier to steer. I...
This post is to confirm that Mahala and I will be there. I just confirmed with a friend of mine (amaverick88 on SS) that he would like to be a driver for you, he owns a deuce.
