I had a simular issue happen whe I was ABOUT to drive a used oil truck (Ford L9000). Pressed on the clucth pedal and snap. Set me back on the route 3 days or more to the point a week and half of catching up. It wasn't high up on Penske's to do list.
Also had a clutch pedal rotate while doing...
So was this a friend of a friend's boss who knew a guy who had an "old truck" for sale??? Or "I'd seen this truck for years and I kept thinking to myself 'One day I'm going.........'";-)
Well I can't add anything to your airpack problems but will say great job on the cranes! I will be doing something very close to what ya'll have done. :p
I guess it goes with out saying "to each his own". Having said that I would not could not do that to a vehicle. I have problems with doing that to non-MVs. While plentyful now, they will start to become very hard to find in the near future. Make them orginal or make them better than orginal...
Yes very very slow, but for all the wealth of knowledge on this site I would gladly donate $20 bucks if that would help the problem go away for good.
I like it. Not a big fan of the dark OD more of the faded paint kin of guy. I'm looking at a M211 here in GA and you are indeed lucky. You're having to worry about fadded paint. The one here is has a nice coating of surface rust. Fantastic southern humidity.
You are correct. My crew and I shot one to pieces. Most fun I ever had on gunex. A REAL moving target!!!!!!!
The coast guard in addition to being the fith arm of the military is also a federal law enforcement organization. Bad ju-ju in painting something to resemble a CURRENT asset. It...
The coast guard uses them in a few areas of the country. mostly high profile stations that get SAR or a lot of public affairs cases. I believe station Miami might have a few. Having said that I would NOT paint it with USCG markings as they will be kind enough to take it from you for...
Howdy from Albany, GA. Wreckerman DITTO!! I met up with snadcobra on your sudgestion this weekend and he was kind enough to answer all my questions and give me some pointers (ok and a ride). Great guy to get to know! I know in the future that any help I need or advise is right up the road or a...
rwbrown- I had the same idea except for a civi PW. That is until I read an article in PW advertiser that detailed a swap. Bottom line (for me anyway) was that he is the man! I do not pocess the skills/shop to do that. It was a three part article. He had to do tons of fab work to make it look...
Yep same guy!!8-) and although I didn't get chance to look at it up close the truck in the pics is very clean (from a distance). I met him at the big auto swap they have in Moultrie, GA and I remember thinking that he seemed like a very fair and more to the point honest person.
His website is generationjeep.com. I believe he is a member here. Something like rdeese. I went there on Sat to talk with him about a M35 but he was closed.
Thanks guys. Just trying to get my ducks in a row before I go and spend a bunch of money only to find out I need something else. I'll check with the all knowing and polite people:confused: down at DMV next week.
Respectfully,
