Using ear buds and an ipod/iphone or similar MP3 works best. The music cancels out the steady tone of the tires/engine. Ear plugs are fine for short distances, but for a long trip, ear buds are indispensable.
Pencil me in. I will be there unless I find something better to do on that day. But what could be better than a parade to honor our Veterans on my birthday???
Use either the additives with regular coolant, or fleet coolant which already has additives, but not both. Also be aware if you have a coolant filter, it may also contain time release additives. Too much or too little is a bad thing. Gimpy is right on with recommending the test strips.
These engines are made with cylinder sleeves and highly recommend fleet coolant with SCA's (Supplemental Coolant Additives). The regular green stuff will work fine as coolant, but could possibly lead to corrosion issues farther down the road. When I replaced my oil cooler, there was regular...
If the truck needs to be towed, either flat towed or by a wrecker, there is no need to pull any driveshafts. Make sure both the transmission and transfer case are in neutral. When operating the truck, BE SURE to pay attention to the start up/shut down sequence. If not, you stand a good chance of...
I have no worries in general, and not because of the HMV plates. Research the laws in the states in which you will be driving. If in doubt, hire the CDL driver. I personally would never charge someone for driving their truck. Just cover the expenses. Then again, I am different.

I hope you didn't leave the key in it and scanner boxes on the seat .
I like how the M1061A1 has those handy stabilizer legs for hauling trailers on trailers under Workhorses.
3-900 series manuals
Are these 3 different manuals? I want one/all. Would rather have the paper version than trying to find stuff on my laptop. I guess I need some organizational lessons from Sir Head of Dog.
Check the fuel tanks for leaks. Last time I saw it, it was deep in the woods and leaking fuel. We plugged a hole with a cutting from a sapling. Vehicle was driven from Georgia back to Michigan with the temp fix.
That is fine for small, light stuff that is easy to pack around. I want my heavy stuff to be spoken for before I load and haul it. Makes it easier to enjoy the crowd and the trails.
I have one bridge truck tire and wheel. 14.00-20 ndt. Also 5th wheel plate, diamond plate platform, and ramps with all bolts. removed from my 932. Excellent shape.
